Is this really that serious that we should quarantine? Theaters, malls,
restaurants, schools & colleges are also closed. Take safety precautions it
will help us be safe!
Friends! We are constantly surrounded
by so many related news, videos, Whats App messages 24*7. This is all good and also
required at this point of time to be more aware and cautious. however, this is
a war that is happening outside of us for which our government is continuously
taking smart measures to battle it up and undoubtedly, even we are supporting
each other to fight back. But, what about searching inside us?
Many of you at some point of
time now must have gone with this thought that- sitting at home the complete
day is making me feel dull now, I don’t know how the days to come, will pass?!
Here’s the key! Let’s not think on how will
the days pass rather think on how will I spend the upcoming days.
I remember many people around
me in our leisure talks have mentioned, that, once they get ample amount of
time to stay back home, they would read a specific book/Practice Yoga/Pranayama/
Meditation, or learn some art work, cooking etc. My question is, have we really
started to do it?
See, my point here is, what we
have usually talked about doing something once we get xyz amount of time; have
we at least started the first step of doing it? so that we can finish it up on
time and relish the moments of realization of being with oneself. I still
remember when I was in my college days, just to keep my little sister busy and
happy who was depressed I thought of sitting with her to try and draw the first
sketch of my life with her just to make her feel engaged. however, I started
with a bad one and ended making so many really good sketches.
Friends! Our true
being is realized only in such lazy times, because this is the time where we
know that we are doing certain things just because ‘I want to do it’ and not
because ‘someone will judge me’ on this.
I hope you are getting my point.
Now! As we have come to a
point where we have talked on being with oneself, I would like to throw some
light on Mindfulness. It is a state of being. From many days, we are talking
about our future or I must say fearful future due to the Pandemic and also
about past few days’ experiences. However, at the time of mindfulness we will
be only in the state of present.
I am not saying that you have to stop speaking
or doing anything that you are currently doing (that’s your choice) , what I
wish you all must do is take out at least 5 minutes of time everyday to be
watching and concentrating on your breathing process. It’s just so simple!! You
can do it immediately after reading this article.
So! What do we need to do;
sit in a relaxing position anywhere you want and simply breath in and out. While doing the same just focus on how the
breath is going in and coming out. Concentrate on your breathing process. In
between you might get distracted by your thoughts, simply bring your thoughts
again on the breathing process. Repeat as many times required. Open your eyes
only when you feel content with the process and the beautiful smile comes on
your face naturally.
You know what the magic is, the same feeling you
always feel when you do any of your works with 100% involvement. Its just that
today we are learning to be in this state for maximum amount of time to be
stable staying at home quarantine.
Hash!!! What contentment!
Repeat this practice daily like you brush your teeth daily.

Really encouraging and motivating. There are very few people who get to utilize their time properly and so if this ad reaches the millions who need it, probably many of them might kickstart their dreams off to see a rainbow of fulfilled happiness.
